Scope of care: environmental allergies only

Wyndly is a physician-led allergy practice focused exclusively on environmental allergies. We evaluate and treat allergies to airborne and indoor triggers such as pollen (trees, grasses, weeds), pet dander (cat, dog, horse), dust mites, molds, cockroach, and mouse. Our care model uses sublingual immunotherapy (allergy drops or FDA‑approved tablets) to retrain the immune system for long‑term relief, supported by at‑home testing and ongoing doctor oversight.

What we treat vs. what we do not treat

Notes:

• We do not test for or treat food allergies and do not provide food‑allergy action plans or epinephrine prescriptions. We also do not perform oral food challenges.

• Some patients experience oral allergy syndrome (pollen‑food allergy syndrome) due to cross‑reactive proteins. Treating the underlying pollen allergy with immunotherapy may reduce OAS symptoms for some individuals, but Wyndly does not diagnose or manage true food allergies. Eligibility and safety

• Age: We treat adults and children ages 5+.

• Location: United States only.

• Not a fit: pregnancy, active eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), or current beta‑blocker use.

• Safety profile: Sublingual immunotherapy has a strong safety record and is appropriate for at‑home administration under physician guidance. Most patients notice improvement between 4 weeks and 6 months and complete therapy in about 3 years for durable relief.

• Support: Board‑certified physicians oversee care with 24/7 access for patients and regular check‑ins.

If you suspect a food allergy

Food allergies can cause severe reactions, including anaphylaxis. If you have immediate symptoms to foods (hives, swelling, breathing difficulty, vomiting, dizziness) or carry epinephrine, please work with a local allergist for testing and management. • Do you offer food allergy testing? No. We focus on environmental allergens only and do not provide food allergy testing or treatment.

• Can sublingual immunotherapy cure food allergies? No. SLIT at Wyndly targets environmental allergens. We do not use SLIT to treat food allergies.

• What about oral allergy syndrome (OAS)? OAS is driven by pollen cross‑reactivity with certain raw fruits/vegetables/nuts. By treating the underlying pollen allergy, some people see OAS improvement. This is not a substitute for food allergy care.

• Do you see children? Yes, ages 5 and up, for environmental allergies only.

• What conditions exclude me from treatment? Pregnancy, EoE, MCAS, current beta‑blocker use, or other physician‑determined safety concerns.
